I am incredibly honoured to share that Hercules and Me has won
the
Best Film on Disability Issue Script at the MEI International
Film Festival 2025.
This award means so much to me because Hercules and Me is
not just a screenplay — it is my life. It is the journey of a little boy
who felt broken, slow, and left behind, and who later discovered
that his story, his struggles, and his voice had value.
To see this deeply personal project recognized on an international
stage, among thousands of entries, is overwhelming in the most
beautiful way.
It tells me that the world is ready to hear the stories of children
who learn differently — children like me, like so many others who
are misunderstood before they are understood.
I am grateful to the entire MEIFF team for this honour, and to
everyone who has encouraged me, supported my work, and
believed in the message behind this story.
